Here's the next one for the week after. Again, please place your predictions on here by kick-off at the latest. My prediction is Slough Town 1 Welling Utd 2 (Goldberg) Good luck Statto
Anyone else going to the London Senior Cup final? Im planning to go if I can get away from work in true glory hunting fashion without attending any previous rounds. In fact Ive not been to London senior cup match for years. No offence to Wingate and Finchley but not a good choice to play the final. We saw a...
So here's the first one for next Saturday. As usual, please place your predictions for this game on here by kick-off at the latest. My prediction is Welling Utd 1 (Mills) Bath City Cheers Statto
just read on Facebook that Brad Shutler is walking away from the Wings Bar. What does he future hold for the Bar. -- Edited by Davy K on Wednesday 3rd of April 2019 07:13:20 PM
WUSA now have a card reader associated with the club shop and are very pleased to announce all major debit and credit cards will be accepted from Saturday. There will be a minimum £5 spend and we regret that we are unable to offer cash back facilities. In addition we can only offer card holder present tra...
Some barbed comments about the Wings being a "horrible, arrogant little club". In almost 50 years of supporting Welling United I have never been hurt so much than by that comment. I have always found our officials to be so polite as to the point of deferential, and as for arrogant we have always excell...
Last time I asked about Jack's progress and rehabilitation following his nasty injury, he was doing very well. I hope his recovery is still going well but it is probably too much and too selfish to expect him to play any role this season.
Well, the 5pm deadline for signings today for the rest of the season has passed. No news from the club ....yet. -- Edited by OMERTA elb on Thursday 28th of March 2019 05:45:34 PM
Week after week he is the postman as he always delivers ! Injuries, suspensions and a budget that is bottom three not top four! If we dont start talks NOW, I feel we will lose him and the team as they seem as if they only want to play for him. In my eyes, top teams will come in for him based on his record and what...
I'd normally put this on the former players thread but this deserves it's own. Former Wing Fraser Franks has had to retire from football due to a heart issue. I'm sure all from Welling wish him well in the future.
Apologies, but due to various things I haven't been in a position to update the league table as yet, but should be able to do it sometime tomorrow morning. So for now, please place your predictions on here by kick-off on Saturday afternoon at the latest. Many thanks Statto
It must be so frustrating for Steve King as clubs around us in the play-off zone strengthen their teams for the run-in before the end of March transfer deadline. Meanwhile, poor Steve has to contend with unavailability because of international call-up and a gamut of injuries with seemingly no prosp...
Enjoyable game for the neutral but shame we couldnt hang on for 3 points. Decent point though against a team relying on big lumps, how they are top I will never know. Thought Woking were average and I am sure they have bought more fans in the past? Looked like 150-200 of them, similar to what mid-table Slo...

I think we should segregate. Give them the cricket side of the ground and pack us in behind the goal to build up a bit more atmosphere. A big club like Woking shouldn't have to swap ends at half time just because we haven't had the good sense to build a ridiculously over sized stand at the park end.
I have been asked by Gary the clubs community officer to let you know that tickets for the charity match will be available at all home games from this Saturday. Either see Gary around the ground or see me in the shop. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for juniors. I was sent a poster advertising the game but b...
